Concerning use of keio.jp after resignation

Please note the following conditions.
- Please understand that we cannot answer any inquiries concerning method of use, except inquiries concerning forgetting Keio IDs or passwords.
- Please remember that in a case where Keio University has judged that an action that violates a keio.jp usage regulation has occurred, Keio University will invalidate the rights of the user without advance notice.
Services that cannot be used after resignation

All applications of keio.jp except for Keio Mail (including contacts of G Suite (formerly G Suite))
- Example: Google Workspace (Group, Drive, Calendar etc.), etc.

Software licenses obtained
- Example: Microsoft 365 Apps(Office 365 ProPlus), ESET, Becky! Internet Mail, etc.
Make preparations before usage ends.
If you need to save G Suite (formerly G Suite) data (Mail, Group, Drive, Calender, Contacts, etc.), One Drive data, please take measures such as storing it in your own PC.
You can also forward Keio Mail, so make the setting before the end of your usage period.
Please change the "Owner" of the files and folders you share in Google Workspace (e.g. GoogleDrive).
Please delete the data in Google Workspace (e.g. GoogleDrive), and OneDrive after backing up the necessary data.(excluding files and folders that are shared)

For files and folders shared with other users, please change the owner. -
How to back up One Drive data
If you are using Microsoft 365 Apps (formerly Office 365 ProPlus), please take appropriate measures, such as downloading the data in One Drive to your own computer. -
How to back up Zoom data
Please take appropriate measures, such as downloading recordings saved in the cloud (Zoom site) to your own computer.
Forwarding Settings for Keio Mail
It is also possible to set up forwarding for Keio Mail to another email address, so please prepare for the end of your usage period.
Uninstallation of Obtained Software
Licenses obtained through the Software License Acquisition System are only available while you are enrolled at Keio University. Please delete them promptly after leaving the university.
If you are using Microsoft 365 Apps (formerly Office 365 ProPlus), please also uninstall Office. (How to uninstall Office from a PC)
To continue using Office products after leaving the university, please purchase a license on your own. Please note that you cannot register for Microsoft 365 using the Keio ID you used while enrolled.
Handling Google Groups
If you use Google Groups, please take the following actions as necessary.
- Backing up groups (How to back up Google Workspace data)
- Changing the group owner to another member (Member Operations)
- Deleting groups that are no longer used (Deleting a Group)
FAQ
Q1: I will become a part-time lecturer after retirement. Can I continue to use keio.jp?
A1: You can continue to use it including Keio mail, but there may be cases where the services you can use will differ from those before your retirement.For details, please inquire with the department supervising each application.
Q2: In the case of alumnae, I thought I could continue to use Keio mail, but can no longer use it.
A2: People who are alumnae, who graduated or separated, or who withdrew from the Ph.D. course with the prescribed credits after March 2015 can use it.
