Warning regarding large number of phishing e-mails sent internally (Jan. 11)
We have confirmed that a number of emails with the following contents were sent from the email address of a legitimate Keio ID user who was hijacked by unauthorized access at around 19:37 on January 11, 2022 to email addresses within the university. Since these emails are sent from the email address of the legitimate Keio ID user, they may have reached your inbox without being flagged as spam.
If you receive an email with the same content, please discard the email without opening it. If you accidentally entered your Keio ID credentials by accessing the link in the body of the email, please contact us at KEIO CSIRT.
- The subject line is ''You have 2 new important messages from IT helpdesk'', ''2 New Messages from IT Helpdesk'' or ''[WellComp:229] You have 2 new important messages from IT helpdesk''.
- The following description in the body of the message leads the user to a phishing site with a "Click Here To Review:" link that includes a form for entering the Keio ID.
